The D4 Traffic Signal Controller Software is a powerful package that is best known for its transit priority capabilities and advanced coordinator. The software supports AB3418 and NTCIP protocols and works with a variety of central systems and traffic controllers.
The product was created in the 1990’s and first deployed in September of 2003 at the intersection of 3rd St @ King St in the City of San Francisco. It has since grown to over 6,500 field deployments (~10,000 licenses issued) across 30 agencies. D4 supports a variety of 2070 and NEMA ATC controllers.
